I have worked with the team at Passionate Media on several occasions and have never found them to be anything less than consummate professionals.
As a journalist, I deal with countless PR companies everyday. The Passionate Media team stands out. Not only are they professional, but they turn out copy that is clean and easy to read • a delight for a reporter or feature writer when so many press releases and emails are loaded down with extraneous words and flannel to try and get you to use them.
Moreover they are straight talking, have a no-nonsense approach and won't waste a news editor or reporter's time with a story that won't make it to the page. This is largely due to their journalistic experience. They know what reporters and newsdesk staff are dealing with on a daily basis, and appreciate the fact that they have deadlines. They also know that newspaper offices are bombarded with a constant stream of press releases, emails and phone calls from PR companies on a daily basis, most of which end up being binned and never followed up, because they simply aren't relevant • or well enough written to catch the journalist’s imagination.
In short, they know what works, having seen it from the inside. If they advise a client that something won't work, then you can trust them, it won't.
I find Passionate Media far better to deal with than many of the bigger, longer-established agencies, simply because they know the business inside out, and won't try and sell you a pup.
